Screen Unresponsive

I'm on my 3rd Motorola Droid now because of the horrible echo issue. I was hoping one of the three would be echo free but none are. I am hoping the upcoming fix will resolve it. I hope I am not waiting in vain.

This 3rd phone has a new issue that the others didn't. It does not always repond when I touch the screen. I have no film on it so it's not being blocked.

Sometimes it will respond if I keep my finger on it for a few seconds but the others responded immediately.

I wonder if this one is defective in that area as well.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Yeah I get this too, but primarily with widgets.
When accessing other 'built-in' stuff, it's very responsive.

I'm contemplating taking mine in for an exchange b/c of the muffled call quality too...eh so disappointed b/c I love this phone.
