So I bought this droid 4 from craigslist a little less than a year ago. I was told it was purchased in January making it a little over a year old. I love it to pieces... I upgraded from the droid 2 global and this is just... wow.
But it's having some issues. The screen was staying black after I pressed the power button, but the soft lights were coming on. This was the first sign of SERIOUS trouble from my droid 2 global, so I didn't waste any time and took to the internet... I couldn't find much about it... but now I have pinpointed a more specific symptom. The screen works fine if it has pressure on it. I've clamped my guitar capo up at the top where it's touching the screen but not doing anything and it works perfectly. Does anyone know what this is? I think I'll have to replace the LCD.. but is it a more serious problem than that?
