Scratches on screen?

I have had the droid 1, droid 2, droid 2 global, droid x and now the droid 3 and this is the first phone where the screen is getting lil tiny scratches on it from being in my pocket..none of the other ones had any problem. Has anyone had this issue or know something they might have did different with the screen on this phone?

I think you got some bad gorilla glass on your phone I think you should take that back hopefully you have insurance or it's been less than 30 days

This is not the first report of this I've seen. I wonder if anyone has taken their scratched screen back to Verizon to see what they say.

I called verizon and they said they haven't heard anything about it and then they had me call motorola and same thing happened there. No luck

I had mine for like... 5 days without a screen protector, didnt baby it, always kept it in *denim jeans* pocket (by itself of course, no keys in the same pocket or anything moronic like that). There were no scratches at all .. but i still put the Wrapsol Ultra (Dry) protector on it just because... peace of mind ..... for when i sell this to get the nexus prime lol

We've had this same thread started multiple times. OG droid users who pocketed their devices and never had scratches, yet D3 does. It's not the screen, its the anti-glare coating on the screen being slightly scratched away. I've been running a screen protector since day 1 thankfully. It's not you, its the phone.

I cant see the scratches when the phone is on or doing anything on the phone. Only when the screen is black

Moto didn't say anything about it at all. They said they have had no problems whatsoever
