If the latest rumors from @evleaks are accurate, then they contradict earlier reports from @evleaks himself, and the total number of Galaxy S7 devices has been whittled down to two. The latest intel straight from Evan Blass suggests that Samsung has cancelled the Galaxy S7 Edge+ phablet model for some reason.

This report refutes his own earlier rumor which indicated there would be three Galaxy S7 models, and one was the Galaxy S7 Edge+. This latest rumor also actually confirms a far earlier report (from a different source) which indicated there would be only 2 Galaxy S7 models.

Of course, this back and forth amongst the rumor-mongers will only be settled in February when Sammy decides to illuminate us with the facts. What do you folks think? If Samsung opted to put forth only the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge, would it be a wise move, or a mistake?

I think keeping it at two models is smart on Samsung's part. Afterall, if a Sammy fan wants a larger device, they'll simply wait on the Note 6.
