Samsung Fascinate Wifi Error

So I recently rooted my phone shortly after recieving the 2.2.1 update and now I have no wifi. Even if I go into my wifi properties it just says "error" underneath wifi. I am unsure if this is do to the rooting or the update. Any suggestions?
