Safestrap Recovery IS CLOSE....

Just think... What it is gonna be like now that Hashcode has a Verizon Note 3 in his hands... :icon_ lala: Safestrap is the beginning...

Looks like Hashcode is the Owner of the Note 3 :biggrin:, it is really impressive how quickly the Support Community came together to raise $850 between 18 people in less than 18 hours, which the goal was to raise $660. Thanks to everyone who helped out! :hail:

Not really a dumb question, but mainly 2 important things that all of us that are Rooted want to have. 1) with a Recovery, they allow us to make a duplicate Backup of our current system in it's current state, all the apps and settings are there and functioning just the way they were prior to the time we backed them up, this is important if ever do some thing wrong or erase something or change something or update something that fails or bootloops, we just go back to the back up and life is good again. The other thing is with Safestrap we have ROM slots this is a different concept to most as it gives a Stock slot the main OS slot, then 4 other slots that we can use as custom slots to install Safestrap/Safe custom Roms, keep in mind if there was version of 10.2 designed for SS then it could be installed in Slot 1, you could set up all your settings, who knows maybe 10.4 comes along and makes it to Slot 2. Nice thing about slots is you can change back and forth between slots easily, customize the settings and save them, this is different than backing up and restoring ROMs. All in time and once Safestrap is fully-functional you too will see all the benefits of it.

As of yet, do not flash anything... When it is time to Flash, make sure you flash ROMS that Safestrap ready.
 
Just an Update for those that were waiting for Beta of Safestrap, SS has made it into a cleaner version, feel free to check it out here. [RECOVERY LOCKED] Safestrap Recovery v3.63 (BETA) [2013-11-07] - (VZW) Galaxy Note 3 Development - RootzWiki . In fact I flashed Hyperdrive last night in Slot-4, hehehe! and it is running smooth as can be, ★[ROM][4.3][Nov 10] Hyperdrive RLS1 ¯`•._ ║ Tweaks ║HUB║OTA ║ Speed ║Fully Customizable ★ - xda-developers nice and smooth, feel free it is 100% Safestrap safe!
