S4 wont turn on

my sons s4 will not turn on, show that it is charging or be recognized by the computer. I put my battery in used my charger, still nothing. any thoughts?

Any idea what he did with it before this happened?

Do you have insurance or anything in it? Hard to fix em when you can't even power them up.
