Rumor: Verzion Halts 2.1 again..

This is either a very bad April Fools joke, or yet another delay in the 2.1 update for Droid. If this is a joke, it's not funny due to how many times the Droid community has been burned. Here is the link from 1 of Chris Pirillo's Blog Writers, and you can decide for yourself.

Well if you ask me, Verizon has had more than enough time to get it together and test this update out. Not to mention it's not a huge update meaning there should be little to have screwed up. Lastly, if they've apparently already pushed the update to 210,000 devices, it seems a little late to suddenly notice something is wrong. Besides, from what I'm reading, most people are rather satisfied with the minor fixes and enhancements. I call BS but we'll see.

Imagine the irony; just the other day all you could read about was people claiming how fake the update was, now you have someone claiming how fake the lack of an update is.

You shouldn't believe every little thing you read on the web. Boy Genius Report and Endgaget have absolutely nothing on this and I never heard of the source of that story.

I'll believe that before I believe a tweet on twitter.

Did the manual update 2 days ago when it went official on the google site.. no problems at all, support for live wallpaper multitouch (with pinch to zoom) and wifi all work perfectly fine... the report is fake.....

I'm thinking it is an april fools joke - or a misinformed idiot. Either way, without a post to the alleged tweet (and I'm not a twitter person so I have no way of looking it up myself) I'm going to call it a rumor/prank.

Really quite a stupid one, and this guy kills any credibility he has by doing that, even on april fools, as this is a hot button issue with most users who know about it and all that good stuff. Hell, I've only had the phone for a week or two and I'm already annoyed by it, haha.
