We felt it necessary to share this story with you guys just on the off-chance that some of it comes true; however, please be very skeptical of this intel. Supposedly a list of countries which will receive the Exynos 5 Octa-core version of the Samsung Galaxy S IV has been leaked. If this list is at all accurate, it means the new chip will be rarer than expected. If you remember what happened with the SGS3 last year, the international version of the device received Samsung's first Exynos chip, but the North American version got the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 instead. Things will not be nearly as simple this year apparently.
There will be two versions of the phone; the GT-I9500 will come with the Exynos, and the GT-I9505 will have the Snapdragon. Some countries will get one or the other, and some countries will get both. Here's a breakdown of the list,
As you can see, there is something notably missing from this list. Besides a few other countries, the United States and Canada are not even listed yet. This means they are still up in the air apparently, (or at the very least this info simply didn't make it into the leak). Share your thoughts on this list as it relates to your neck of the woods.
