rooted gb contact list woes

I am on a DROID x running a rooted verison of GB (via dxgbrooted.zip). Everything runs great, but when I try to select person from my contact list, the phone goes back to the home screen and will not allow me to view the contact info or place a call from the contact list. I am still able to place a call by entering the number manually or using a speed dial widget.
Any help would be much appreciated. I can provide additional phone specific details if needed

Rooted GB Contacts going to homescreen

I had same issue on my Droid X rooted GB. I was going through and freezing a bunch of bloatware with Titanium Backup. I read somewhere that Yahoo stuff was tied into the Contacts somehow. I found that when I un-froze (defrosted) Yahoo Mail Authenticator 2.3.3 and Yahoo Contacts 2.3.3 then rebooted, I was able to view my contacts again. Not sure why these are tied into the OS Contacts?..but it worked.
