Rooted but want new gingerbred update!

Hey guys I was looking at the htc page on facenook and it said that the update is coming to us in September! Pretty stoked butttt I am rooted, are you able to update even if your rooted or do you have to unroot and if you do, does anyone know how to do that?

You can just install a custom ROM with Gingerbread baked in and get it now. In order to get the official update you will need to unroot.

Yeah I was trying to get around the tom part cause if I ever get a problem with it, I would rather have it unrooted, do you happen Yo have or know where to get the downgrade file so I can unroot?

Here, but why not just install Cyanogenmod or MIUI since you're already rooted? They will be more fun than the OTA GB that's supposed to be coming.
