ROMs?

Any idea who is interested in making ROMs and kernels for the Ally? I have a friend who is interested in having me root it for him, but other than gaining root there isnt much of a reason to root it yet.

My brother picked up an Ally a couple weeks ago. He might be interested in rooting it, or gaining some of those benefits, if/when it occurs. No idea who might be working on that front though.

Unfortunately only the flagship or popular phones get developer attention...hopefully a couple develop for the ally.

Rom or no rom, id be happy with a recovery system so i can make changes to the current apps, and if i fubar something, i can go back to before i made the changes.

Well actually they do have one recovery system in place. It involves insurance and a good hammer LOL!
