ROM manager/ clockwork recovery help

I installed ROM manager and flashed clockwork recovery on my froyo droid running SS 4.1. Everytime I try installing something either from the free section or from SD card it does not work. It " reboots into recovery " where I see a white M for a couple minutes then it flashes like it reboots as normal with no changes at all. No wipe was preformed when I selected that option either. I really have no idea how to use clockwork so any help would be appreciated.

The developer is recommending that users flash SPR (alternate recovery) then flash back to CW. Several members have reported the swapping does resolve the issue.

You can also just reflash an older version of CW Recovery.
