Don't know if anyone else posted anything, but just wanted to send a RIP out to someone who always reminds me of fond memories growing up..

Age 82

May your memories live on..

Prove the world is doomed as planned in December, no Dick Clark on New Years Eve. RIP (rock in paradise).

my razr won't cut an ice cream sandwich on a hot day

New Year's Eve will never be the same :(

Yep - New Years won't be as awkward any more!

That probably sounds bad. But seeing him in that state was just a downer if you are old enough to remember the pre-stroke days.

NOW the only awkward part will be making out with a woman at midnight (and then realizing it isn't my wife) ;-)

Dick Clark was before my time, but I knew who he was and how he made New Years a celebration with his annual show/party. I wasn't aware he had a major stroke awhile back and was wondering why his New Year's appearances were sporadic. May he RIP

I agree, it was hard to watch him in the last few years, but at least he kept on going..
