Ringtones not as loud at MAX volume as Droid 1?

I've noticed that my ringtones are no where near as loud on the Droid 2 as they were on the Droid 1 same for music. Is there a fix or hack for this?

I noticed that as well, I crank my ringtone volume all the way up so I can hear it in almost all situations, but a lot of times when I'm driving I can only feel the vibration until I have the phone close to my face

I haven't noticed, but that wouldn't surprise me. I'm not all that observant of changes like that. To me it seems the same.
