My Inc was washed a couple weeks ago and I was able to mostly salvage it. It will turn on but only if it is plugged in. The phone will not run on the battery alone. Anyone know what this could be?
If I cant fix it I want to return to stock so that I can get some repairs done on it at HTC warranty center. When I load the recovery it says that the battery doesn't have enough voltage to continue. Any suggestions?

lol same here! i had a dare with a super swollen battery and i took it in for a replacement (would have been my fourth) but they denied me. i wasnt planning on getting a data phone, but i just said to hell with it and went back in the next morning and got the incredible. i didnt know it at the time but it happened to be the day it came out too:) it was the last one in stock and it was only around noonish, i guess i unknowingly lucked out :icon_ banana:

oh and more on topic, when i replaced the battery in the dare (with the same symptoms) the problems went away. if that helps any:p

If your phone got washed it doesn't matter if it is stock. Verizon will make you deal with Asurion for your water damaged phone.
