Like a rock star coming out of retirement the flip phone is making a comeback with Samsung announcing a new line of clamshell handsets.

Yeah, that I know. My 88 year old mother had an original Motorola RAZR flip phone and dearly loved the thing. When she dropped it for the umpteenth time and we went to get her a new one we found that Moto had discontinued the thing so we had to find her a different feature phone. That was the start of her unhappiness with her phone.
