replacing my eris with a newer eris

my loud speaker blew out on my eris and i just received my replacement in the mail today. the thing is i have the leaked 2.1 on my old eris, should i wipe it and restore 1.5 or will i be ok to send it back with the leaked 2.1 since 2.1 was just released to the eris?

I doubt they care what it has on it, they flash and restore them if they are fixable and junk the rest.
