rename Gmail accounts on Droid?

is it possible to rename a Gmail Account to other than the email address? I have to gmail accounts setup on my droid, one for "work" and one for "personal". I would like to name that way. thank you.

yes, they are both in my gmail app on the droid. When i select menu then accounts, i would like to see them as "work" and "personal" instead of the default email addresses.

Not sure you can do that. Long pressing on them does nothing.

You can maybe use filters to have your personal email go into one folder and work into another. If I understand what you are wanting to do. Try reading up on it here:

He has 2 separate accounts, just wants to rename them the Work and Personal
instead of them being [email protected]
