I've done this before. What I think you do is with the bluetooth active, go to the device itself and long press on the device. Options will come up including unpair.
Settings --> Wireless & Networks --> Bluetooth Settings (Bluetooth must be on). Long-Press the device you want to unpair. Unpair the device, then Scan for devices. The device you don't want will go away.
