Reloading after new firmware

[Gingerpocalypse]

I have the Thunderbolt, stock.
Just installed Ice Cream Sandwich on it just a few days ago.
Every time I hit Home, it says loading and it takes forevvvvvvvvver.
I don't like any launchers I've tried, and I've soft reset it.
Is there ANY ways to fix this and not lose any of my apps/saved things?

problems after IC update/installation

Good luck. I've performed 3 (yep, THREE) factory resets, reinstalled fewer and fewer apps, and continue to have this problem. Also, when opening an app, it will appear to open then revert to the last screen. Oh, joy.
