red line on screen

Occasionally a thin red line will out line the perimeter of my screen for a second is this a notification of some sort?

I've never heard of a notification like this.... Not saying it isn't happening.. Have you dropped the device or anything?

Actually I seem to remember a situation that created that red perimeter but for the life of me don't remember the explanation.

Try going to Settings>Developer Options and uncheck Show Screen Update. Let us know if that worked for you.

I feel like I've seen this before as well...maybe when there was an incoming call or such?
