Receiving Picture Error

I have an HTC Inspire 4G from AT&T and I am currently running 2.3.3.

The last few months I have had the following problem with my pictures:

I take them with my phone's camera and they are retrievable using my phone's media viewer. Then about a week later, I go to view them or upload them and there is no picture but just an "icon" with a red exclamation point. The pictures have "dropped out" out of my phone. I tried restarting and tried changing different media viewers and nothing has worked.

Any ideas?

sorry ur having issues, are the pictures stored on ur sd card as well? im not familiar with ur device, but lets see if its the MP that might be too big to view after awhile. normally the exclamation point is an indicator its corrupted, file too big or not compatible to view on certain apps

I have a BIONIC, and am having the same issue. I have over 100 pics on phone along with some videos. Approimately 25 of the pictures you can view, the rest along with the videos you can not. They have size to the file, and receive error displaying media for pictures and for videos file cannot be displayed or played. HELP PLEASE

DroidX has the same issue

I'm feeling your pain too. I have a DroidX and can't view most of my pictures & videos and the ones I can view are obscured by a large block of solid green or brown over half the picture. I'm not sure what the phone is doing there, but the picture initially comes up fine for a second <literally> until its covered by a pixelation of solid green and/or brown.

May need to go back to the iPhone!
