Hello all,

I'm asking for some answers here. If you could report to me if either of these two situations result in a reboot, I would appreciate it.

Just got my D3 this morning, and its restarted about 20 times so far, because of one of these issues. I'm filing for a replacement as we speak. Pretty sad.

Oh it definitely is. I'm getting over to the office tomorrow! Thanks for the luck! I'll need it.

I saw one or two people have an issue where one or more of the little pins that connect to the battery are pushed in a bit. This would result in reboots. It kinda sounds like you are having that issue, although it could be a more serious hardware problem. Anyway, you might want to take out the battery and take a look at the pins. If any are not popping out far enough you can pry them out with a sewing needle or something similar to fix the problem.

It's a battery issue

I went through 3 phones and still had the issue. Verizon reps were dumbfounded. They had never seen this before - gasp the horror...

I asked them to swap out the battery. They said it couldn't be that doesn't make any sense. They swapped the battery out - and wolah - no more issue...

Good Luck

Hm, I wonder if the battery "pins" issue that I mentioned above is the problem. Did you happen to look at the battery pins and phone pins to see if any were pushed in or otherwise bent?
