I love the rapid charger that came with the phone but the cord is really short. Is there a place where I can purchase that charger but longer?
TIA

Yup you want a male USB to male micro USB. Wouldn't get the cheapest around but most any will work.

Check out monoprice.com. There was another thread about this. I just bought some stuff from there. Only cost me $5.

Excuse me if I sound stupid but are you saying the rapid part of the charger is in the part that gets plugged into the wall, not the actual usb cable?
TIA

i think he is talking about the usb to micro cable itself. I use the charger from my env touch, since it was also a micro usb type charger.

You can use any USB-Micro USB cord.

Yes. The cable is just a cable.

I read some threads about the Droid doing things autonomously (texting people, calling people, opening/closing menus) because of cheapo (ebay) wires.

Can people vouch for the monoprice ones not doing this?
Or vice versa, has anyone gotten em and experienced this?
