Random... which kernel is "faster"

This is a straight dumb question but its making me scratch my head, this ain't ur typical kernel ? I'm almost embarrassed but here it is... which kernel is "faster/bigger" 1.2 or 1.25? I would think 1.25 that its .05 "bigger" than 1.2 I may be totally reading this wrong tho...but the fact that the 1.2 kernels r listed after 1.25 on chevy's kernel index makes it seem 1.2 is bigger which they very well might be but that's y I'm asking

One is 1.25Ghz one is 1.2Ghz, making the 1.25Ghz faster.

I thought 1.25 faster but the fact 1.2 is listed last it thru me off cause it seems they'd be listed from slower to faster...oh and setcpu reads kernels as mhz not ghz but the file for kernels do say ghz what's the difference there?

Most likely a file naming issue of the OS they are stored on...

If he named them as..

kernel....1.10
kernel....1.20
kernel....1.25

they would show up in order....

but I believe he names them just 1.1 and 1.2 so 1.25 is in between 1.1 and 1.2

kernel....1.1
kernel....1.25
kernel....1.2

Speed wise.... 1.25 is .05 faster than 1.20

If I remember correctly, back in the early days of 2.1 I believe Chevy stated that the 1.25 used more voltage then the 1.2 did, but that was only if you maxed the speed out. So that might be something to consider also.
