Random Power Cycles

My droid randomly cycles power while performing various functions. I cannot isolate it to any one thing. It's happened 5 or 6 times over the last week.

I should add this is my 2nd droid. The first was returned after a week due to a noisy ear speaker in calls. The new phone sounds great.

Back to power cycles. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, have you identified any solutions?

Any help is appreciated. I really don't want to return yet another phone. Outside of these glitches, I love this phone!

There are several threads on this forum about this issue. It's a fault with the phone. The only solution is to return it and get it replaced. Verizon are aware of the problem.

I'm on my third phone (first power cycled and the second had an ill-fitting slider).

Yes return the phone. I had the cycling issue> I'm on my 2nd phone and it hasn't cycled once!
