Every time I view a png file with root explorer that png ends up in my gallery. i know It must be stored in some kind of temp folder or something, but I cant find it. The folder in the gallery just says its from Root Explorer...

Is there anyway for me to prevent this from happening each time i view a png through root explorer? (like putting a .nomedia file in the folder) and where are these files being held on my droid directory?

Thanks

are you extracting them? I have never had this happen by just looking at them....only when I have tried to extract a file that had images in it...and root explorer saves those files to a folder ont he root of the sdcard called extracted I do believe.

I am definitely not extracting them. I will click to view and when prompted to view with selected application (Gallery viewer, or Astro viewer) i will select either it doesn't matter because the png will end up in my gallery after reboot.

any ideas?
