question about ims

well i just got my droid yesterday and am loving it and the first thing i did was download the aim app and now since ive been iming with it everytime i get an im it gets sent as a text also and it never did this with mobile im on my versa

You may need to change your settings on aim.com, it is probably sending texts to your phone in addition to the mobile app
