I assume you're implying that they ripped it off from the Droid commercials? I've seen that commercial a few times and it seems like it's been out for a while. Not sure if it was before or after the Droid commercials though... The similarity never struck me, but I guess it is a bit of a rip-off it it came after the Droid commercials.

I'm a fan of the PS3 though...so I don't mind.

I actually saw this commercial last week while watching a history of video games.
Apparently Genesis did, way before the Droid

That PS3 commercial is one of many with different themes that have been out for much longer than the Droid has.

Im pretty sure the PS3 commercial was out before the DROID commercials... As for the Sega Genesis commercial, haha. Classic. I still have mine in a box somewhere.
