Problems with playing audio through car receiver using 3.5 jack

I just got my Fascinate and tried to use the 3.5 jack directly from the phone into my car receiver. I plays very well (great sound), but I cannot use the phone. I get audio from the receiver, but callers cannot hear me. Does anyone else have this problem?

Similar. I found out that if I'm listening to something on my Fascinate plugged into my car system from the audio out jack and a call comes in, I have to unplug the phone (at the audio jack) for the call to work through Bluetooth. In addition, the selection I'm playing keeps running. I've not had this issue with other devices including BB and the HTC Incredible. Driving me nuts (not to mention the GPS lock issue)!

I did call samsung and they were not any help - I'm hoping otjer people will complain maybe Samsung will do something about it
