Hello,
we're considering joining the "droid world". we're hearing rumors of all kinds of free apps, so we figured we would check here to see just what is available, and what is not. Is there such a thing as free internet on the droid? what about the idea of terminating the text on our verizon bill, and using g-mail? any thoughts??

Yes there are a bunch of good free apps on the market, no there is not free internet with the droid, verizon requires the $30 unlimited data plan at this time, also texting is cheap but if you really must just use Google voice for free.
