Possible problem receiving 2.2

This is my first post in these forums, and I have searched for the answer, but have found nothing. I am currently away from my home area and will be untill mid September. Does this impact my ability to receive the 2.2 update from where I am, or do I have to wait until returning home? Thanks for any info.

Do you have 3g service where you are at? if you do, I would assume Vz will find you.

As Nateccnn said, As long as you have 3G service or WiFi (I think WiFi works with OTA updates, correct me if I'm wrong), you should receive the update if it rolls out.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I do have both 3G and wifi, so I will wait patiently along with the rest.

It had been but the OTA just started up again, due to be finished by Aug 18.
