So I finally got my work email set up to my droid. My companies email is POP3 service, my question is how do I get it configured to be more functional? When I check my mail now sometimes they show up to my droid, but if outlook is open they never make it, or if I check email on outlook its gone off my droid. Any help would be appreciated.

You'd need to either close Outlook or configure it to leave mail on the server. You can't pull mail off a POP server if it isn't there.

The option is buried a bit in the settings for your account and I don't recall the exact steps off the top of my head but a quick Google search should turn them up.
