Got a project for you guys... this one has gotten the best of me, short of asking Pete himself, wonder what XML edit can get this text color from black to the blue it should be along with the rest of the pop-up menu font colors...

I longpress on homescreen, then if I choose shortcuts, folders, wallpaper...I get the next menu with my TruBlue font color... however, if I select Widgets I get black text... drivin' me crazy!!!... I usually can get most things isolated, but this should be able to be controlled by a framework-res xml...??

Who's up for the quest...lol :p;)

Did you look in Layout? list_menu_item_layout.xml. Maybe?

Thanks Cakes....will look at that, that xml may be more unilateral though rather than on just one popup menu.....but will take a shot though.

I'm just surprised no one else had any idea about this? :p.... anyways will let you know about that xml...thank you for your suggestion...

Alrighty... isolated it, it's the appwidgetpicker XML in the appwidgetpicker.apk, ;) .... seems it was set to black and didn't point at a system text command...whoa, that did take some effort to find though :icon_eek::(...lmao:p:D

Hey BTW Cakes, you were right about it being a layout XML...;)
Still kinda surprised that nobody else had any other ideas??

Yeah, I usually try to control most of the text colors via framework, but Pete threw a curveball by adding this apk to BBv0.6.2...lol
..:)
Thanks for the suggestion...;)

MBK, for future reference, In ROMs that don't have the appwidgetpicker.apk, that text is in the Settings.apk in the layout folder as appwidgetsomething.xml......

Not with Bugless Beast, and up til v0.6.2 I was able to control it thru framework..... that's what threw me off, Pete adding thius widget to v0.6.2

Yeah, might just be ROMs that are basically stock with a stock Settings.apk, I remember having to do it like that with MetickMOD.....
