I have the "unsent message issue" so I searched and looks like I need to download the Handcent SMS to get rid of it. My issue is when I went to download it, it doesn't seem to be downloading. I pushed the button to download but now all it says is "starting download" but it won't do anything else. It's not downloading, usually you get the downloading arrow when that's happening, nothing! Any ideas?

Not sure if this will help anything but try rebooting your phone. That is my first plan of attack to any problem I am having.
Also try downloading it from https://market.android.com/?hl=en if the rebooting doesn't work.
