Pictures in messages

How can I change what folder the pictures that are snet me in a message are downloaded into? Everytime I get one it goes to download, but I have other folders that I would like to send them to. Please help....

You can move them via some sort of file manager, or mount your phone to your computer and sort things through there.

Give Handcent a try. It has a setting (tap menu, tap settings, tap applications settings, tap save directory) that allows you to store/save in the folder of my choice.

I'd be happy just to be able to receive or send pictures. In this task, droid messenger, handcent, chompsms sux.

I've never had any problems sending pictures through the native Messaging app. There are plenty other ways to send pictures though, most notably email or Picasa.
