Pictures dissapearing?

So I noticed yesterday when browsing my pictures that a bunch of them are mysteriously gone. Quite annoying as they were some really good pictures! Anyone else experience this?

It didn't happen to me but someone else reported it and they "fixed" it with a factory reset.

I having this on my camera

I got Olympus 10 U 1040 camera I am experiencing the same. I have 8 GB of memory card. I have lost a many of my pics. The problem was I had disabled the date.
