No worries! You can download Androzip for free in the market. It automatically defaults to your SD card contents. You can create a new folder, name it what you want, then move the pictures to it. You will need to reboot for the changes to take effect. Let me know if you have any issues.

You can also use Astro File Manager to do the same also, except you don't need to reboot after making the changes.

I've also been using JustPictures! instead of the stock gallery and it's far better.

Interesting...so the reason I have to reboot is because of Androzip??

I'm guessing that's it - I can go into Astro, make a new file, move pictures into it then go straight to the gallery and the new file and pictures will be there.

In the stock gallery it can sometimes take a minute for the files to come up, but in JustPictures! it only takes a few seconds ....

Oh, and I can hide and unhide pictures files in Astro and it all works without an rebooting.

But - since you are rooted and I really don't know anything about that, I don't know if that may have something to do with the need for reboot(??)

Edit: and I just thought I'd add that it is the same when I download pictures from my computer - soon as I'm done and disconnected and all the pictures are there and ready.

SDRescan in the market will force a rescan of the SDcard to see recently added files and pics without needing to reboot.
