Phone only mode at night?

Sorry if this is already handled somewhere else, but I'd like to have my phone on for emergencies during the night. How can I set it where I do not get any texts or emails but I can receive calls - maybe even a few specific numbers?

In Smart Actions. Nighttime battery extender. It shuts off data and any background functions on the phone. Also Juice Defender does that. Either or should get you what you want.
Update# It is 211 unless you changed it to 215 Leak available on this site.

I use smart actions to shut down data. This leaves my phone on. However , my trigger is to initiate this action when plugged into a wall charger. I always charge overnite. Once set tho it's so nice and always works. No third party app involvement. I also use "nite clock" on the Maxx for an overnite clock. Great app, nice clock face, easily read and brightness adjustable.

You'll still get SMS text messages even with data turned off. But I suppose you could turn their notifications off.

Yeah, guess I overlooked texts. People I hang with email and don't text, so maybe smart actions could still be adjusted accordingly.

Not finding the Nighttime Battery Extender in the smart actions. I did find the VIP caller feature though. I'd still like to find a way to only allow calls and no data or texts....
