Phone not recognized by PC

My Samsung Galaxy S24 ultra can no longer be seen to transfer files to my PC running windows 11.

This started since the latest andriod/samsung update a couple of days ago.

The PC will see the phone but when I go to get into it it says folder is empty. My wife said to day she is having the same problem. I want to transfer photos from phone to PC.

Am I missing a setting?

I'm sure it's probably because of the update but have you tried to use a different port on the PC and or cable and when you swipe down from the top notification area just double check to make sure that it's not in charging mode and it's in file transfer mode

Thank You I just figured that out, it was just that, the mode was charge only when connected to usb. Never had to change that before the latest update.

I'm glad you got it figured out sometimes the updates revert settings unfortunately
