Phone keeps powering on!

Okay say i power down the phone and i plug the charger in the phone automatically comes back on, even if i power it back off it comes back on. Is anyone else noticing this?

Oh that sux. I usually charge my phone at night turned off, so it doesn't wake me up.
Hope there is a fix for that.

Isnt just setting another sound-profile fixing the @nite problem?
If screen is too shiny just turn the phone upside down!

Use the program Locale to setup a sleep profile. You can have it between certain times and it can set the phone to turn brightness all the way down and put the phone on silent.

nice. I had my curve set up to auto turn off at night and auto turn on in the morning to save battery and not bother me.

According to what I've read at Hofo, that is the way the Droid is set-up, some speculate it has to be on for power management while charging.

Not sure, but I just checked and my TMobile G1 doesn't power on when its turned off and plugged into the wall.

Not sure if this is how it works or not on the Droid.
