Have you tried calling Verizon customer service? (Complaining a little about your current phone usually helps.) We've seen them 'adjust' peoples' eligibility dates many times. June is a little bit of a strecth, but it might be worth a shot...

Unfortunatly I have and since my Contract is not up yet I would have to pay Full Price on the Phone. so I wait and Observe.... Maybe 2.1 will be out by then LOL

You should be able to get it in April if your conteract expires in June. They let you renew 2 months early.

I called yesterday on my account. I have one phone that is due for replacement on 4/6 and I couldn't even get them to budge on that one!

The way I look at is it gives me time to figure out the Apps that i need for the Droid.
