Does anyone know if there's an SBF file anywhere for Appalachian Wireless for the Milestone X? I havent been able to locate any such animal floating for free, so I was wondering if someone had a "paid" version?

The sbf has nothing to do with your carrier. If you want to flash to this carrier that's a different animal all together.

Thats not what I've been led to believe. I can flash a "Generic North American" SBf or the one for Cellular South and get voice and text but no data, so it must have something to do with the carrier.

Now with the Cell South sbf everything is the same setting wise as AW but the PRL, I even tried CDMA workshop to change the PRL setting and that does help either. I dunno what's left, MMS settings and if so where do we get a zip for that.

My guess is that you will need to try and find the proper MMS settings. I'm interested in flashing my Verizon/Cricket Droid to App Wireless since relocating to Eastern Ky. Need to find a PRL and the proper CDMA WS settings. Did you find them?

Appalachian wireless uses ACG software i see this is from 2011 but I have a similar problem lol if you all have any info on how this issue was fixed please feel free to share it with me by the way *228 will update everything but the 3g/4g data and the mms server which should be hxxp://mms.ekn.com

I surprised I even got a email for a reply on this lol. But I have no other info for this. Top secret I guess. Yeah I always did *228 to get the text
working and used manual settings to get voice. But never did get data nor mms. Never tried that mms setting and since went 'fruity'. I have checked there site
often and was never a droid update file available. Good luck.

No. There isnt. I used ntelos, which gave the phone life again, but the network settings are all screwy. Appalachian wireless sucks. Old phones with more expensive plans than verizon. Its garbage.

I fixed my problem just had to use a script telling it to use the apn 7 file and home network 7 config file in the root directories
