On June 4th, the OUYA Android gaming console will start hitting retail store shelves and more. Before that can happen, it must be vetted by the FCC to make sure it complies with Federal laws. Luckily, it has already jumped through these hoops. The OUYA console just passed through its FCC eval with flying colors. In fact, according to the report, it was one of the most detailed and complete FCC filings in quite some time.
One other interesting tidbit came from the filing. Apparently a decently powerful fan is included inside the console to help keep things cool. Apparently, the folks at OUYA wanted to really push the Tegra 3 chip inside to its limits since it doesn't need to run off of battery power.
