Otterbox Case???

Are Droid 2 owners ever going to be given a friggin otterbox?? It's been months now, but iPhone4 already has a case. I demand JUSTICE!

Go with a Body Glove case. I absolutely love it. Pair that up with a Zagg screen protector and you can't go wrong.

time to resurrect this thread as otterbox has a case in the works for this model. looks similar to the one for the D1, so it should be a nice feeling case.

although i also like Seidio's D2 case. i didn't like what their case did to my D1 (scratched the microphone panel when sliding the kb open).

Well if you think about it.. They just released the DX OtterBox. So it may take more time for D2, but who knows.

i am actually in talks with otterbox (via email) maybe i can convince them that its better to deliver a case that is compatible with the d2 extended battery. i tried to emphasize the fone is powerful, that many owners have probably sprung for the ext battery.

now it is wearing a semi-rubberized snap-on from verizon. it fits with the door on, but slight buldge in the back. not a fan of putting pressure on the fone internals, but the display is a seperate part of the phone so at least its not affected by back pressure due to tight fitting case. plus the battery door is metal and formed, so its rigid enough to withstand.

worse case scenario, if the otterbox does not accomodate the ext batt, i would cut out the silicon portion around the door to see if that works.
