orly? Swype beta is closed eh?

For the heck of it after searching for a few minutes for a bootleg Swype apk on a whim I browsed to their official site, resubmitted my beta testing email and pass...and voila, it let me redownload. Wtf?

If you previously registered for the beta, you can log in and resubmit your request for the Swype Installer file.

The beta is CLOSED to NEW people who have NOT registered for the beta in the past. They will not be able to sign up for the beta.

This is true, I also registered a 2nd account when the beta was first closed and when it reopened I go an invite to it. So 2 beta accounts on my tab.

Same here. I was registered in the first round as well as the second round.


What people need to understand is that the beta registration is closed. If you have registered in the past, you're good to go. You can always log in to the Swype website to have them send out the installer to you.
