Optimized BLUR?

Ive been told that there is no way to optimize blur, but is there any ways to make at all quicker? I love blur, but it does lag! anyone know how to make it in anyway quicker? minus OCing

You can try AngDroids Clean Blur rom. You will have to add back in some of the blur widgets but its deodexed and zipalligned.

My 2.0 is also able to be put to full blur using scripts its zipaligned,deodexed and oced by scripts also

coming from ultimate droid on droid 1, this is what im used to! haha
