Hey I am looking to buy an LCD TV for my bedroom and figured hey everyone is so helpful here with everything else so I will ask this here.

I want a 40" LCD TV. I figure for the distance I will be watching from that is the best size. I am not trying to spend a whole lot of money before the holidays so I am looking at refurbished TV's online. I guess my question would be to anyone who has previously bought one online, what was your experience with them and what websites did you use?? I am looking to spend under 400 and closer to 325 if possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Consider a SquareTrade or similar warranty on your purchase. Refurbs rarely come with a 1-year warrany, and most of them are only 90-days, so you'll want to be safe. In fact, I'd rather chop a few inches off the screen and get a good warranty than max out and hope for the best. :)
