I run BB 1.1 with the smoked glass theme. I really love the smoked glass look but when I run launcherpro as my default home, it takes away the smoked glass widgets. Am I doing something wrong? I love Launcherpro because of its dock and snappiness but is there anyway to get the smoked glass theme on launcherpro? Thanks

only widgets that are built into the launcher will loose their theme, like the google search widget. Everyhting else should be fine because the theme is built into the apps and not the launcher...

gotcha. Ok well is there anyway to get the google search bar in smoked glass?
I have BB v1.1, Smoked Glass, & LauncherPro... and I still have the Google Search widget available to select, although I use the Voice Search instead and have the shortcut to that on my home...

The images for the google search are in the launcer apk file. Do you need me to upload launcher pro with the smoked google search widget?

Oh I see, you wanted the Smoked Google search image and not that it wasn't there at all...lol... I guess haledroid is going to swap the png to the smoked google search and upload that new com.fede.launcher.apk for you.... it should be pretty simple.

How do I access the apk file? Or are you about to make it easy for me haledroid?
You'd copy that apk to your PC and extract the folders and find the widget image, and then replce that with the image from the Smoked Glass theme search widget, rezip it and push it back to your Droid... to system/app....

In your Data/App folder on your Droid, you have the LauncherPro apk file (com.fede.launcher.apk).....copy that to your PC, extract it and in the res folder should have the Launcher Google search image (.png I'm sure)... then download the GlassTheme.zip file from the BB v1.1 thread to your PC, extract those folders, find the SmokedGlass google search image, copy that to the Launcher folder and overwrite that search image... rezip the LauncherPro folders with the replaced Google search image, rename it to .apk, push that back to your Droid's SDCard, then you could either use Terminal Emulator or just copy that into your system/app folder fixing permissions...

But I think haledroid is working on it for you already, so see if he uploads that first unless you'd like to try yourself...

Using a Mac shouldn't be any issues...

Sounds like you're in the SDCard Data folder... back out from there to that main root and you'll see the Data folder, then in App...
